Currently, I am a Senior Fellow of the Indian Council of Social Science Research at Jawaharlal Nehru University. I hold my Master’s degree in History and M.Phil. in International Relations with a focus on ‘National Security Strategy’. However, my Ph.D. (International Studies) focuses on ’Energy Security’, where the role of energy in the foreign policy behavior of major oil and gas producing states is the main concern. Currently, my research is focused on the Russian and Eurasian energy markets and its geopolitics at the Center for Russian & Central Asian Studies, School of International Studies in the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, India. National Interest, Resource Nationalism, MNCs (oil & gas) vis-a-vis state, and Refining Industry are also of my focused research areas.
